Welcome to www.ucontex.com website (the "Site") of UcontexLtd.

Ucontex is a social network for online contests. We provide a simplified and trusted way of hosting contest and reward programs for our users. We save time and money for contest organizers and participants and as well increase revenue. Contests hosted on our platform are fun, exciting, and engaging. Users can like, comment on, vote for, share the story and content of any contest.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

If you are not yet 18, you must obtain your parents’ or legal guardians’ consent and permission to be bound by the terms of our Site prior to your use of our site.

UCONTEX is an independent intermediary between the Organizer and Participant by providing the platform and guaranteeing transparency and reliability for the both parties.

Ucontex undertakes to take all due care with any information provided by users when accessing the Site. However, it cannot guarantee the security of any information which a user may provide. Information transmitted to Ucontex is transmitted at the user's own risk.

USERNAME, PASSWORDS AND PIN:

Users are responsible for keeping their usernames, passwords and transaction pin for the Site secure. We are not responsible for losses incurred through negligence or misuse by third parties.

PAYMENTS:

Users will be required to provide payment details (i.e. credit card or debit card details) when making payment for award prize, entry fees and voting fees. Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, bank accountand wallet. By submitting a payment request, permission is granted to debit the designated account with the equivalent amount. An email receipt would be sent immediately payment is confirmed. All payment are processed and secured by an online payment platform Flutterwave.Transactionfee may apply and limit of transaction is regulated by Flutterwave.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY:

Ucontex does not store credit card details on our server, except you save it for next time use. Cards stored on Ucontex can only be viewed using your wallet transaction pin and can be deleted at any time. Ucontex admin cannot view details of any stored credit card.

COUNTRY AND TRANSACTION CURRENCY:

Ucontex has a base currency in Naira (Nigerian Currency).

SERVICE FEE / COMMISSION:

REFUND

There are two forms of refund in Ucontex platform, The instant wallet refund and bank refund.

Wallet refund is instant and could be due to decline of contestant or error that's within our api call. The debited money will be returned to your wallet.

The bank refund take admin action. In this case if the money is not refunded by their bank, the user is required to send refund request to info@ucontex.com with the flutterwave transaction receipt sent to their email. It takes 7 business days to process the refund. This form of refund can only be approved if ucontex verifys the money else you are advice to complain to your bank

DISCLAIMER:

Ucontex Services are provided subject to applicable laws and consumer protection legislations, but are otherwise provided without any warranty, and not subject to any condition (express or implied), except as specifically stated in the Site.

Ucontex will endeavor to make payments to Organizers as soon as reasonably possible, however, Ucontex makes no representations or warranties regarding the amount of time needed to complete processing of such payments because such processing is dependent upon some third parties and many factors beyond our control.

While Ucontex undertakes to use reasonable measures to maintain the operation of Ucontex Services, we cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to the service and operation of the Site and mobile systems. Ucontex shall not be liable for any delay or failure in the running of Ucontex Services, or the working of the Site, where such failure is due to factors beyond Ucontex’s control.

Ucontex will not be held liable for any indirect, special, or consequential losses of any kind whatsoever arising from, or in connection with any payment.

Users acknowledge that access to the Site may occasionally be restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new functionalities or services. We will attempt to restore the Site as soon as reasonably possible.

INDEMNITY BY ORGANIZER:

The Organizer hereby indemnifies Ucontex and holds it harmless for any claims instituted against Ucontex by any user in terms of where the loss suffered by such user was suffered as a result of negligence or misconduct on the part of the Organizer, including the failure by the Organizer to comply with its legal obligations. Where losses arise partly due to the negligence of Ucontex and partly due to negligence or misconduct of the Organizer, the Organizer will indemnify Ucontex pro rata for such claim instituted by such claimant, having regard to relevant operating laws.

The Organizer indemnifies Ucontex against any loss or consequential loss suffered or incurred by Ucontex arising out of, or in connection with, a charge-back or refund claim made against Ucontex, where pay-out has already been made to the relevant Organizer by Ucontex. The Organizer hereby undertakes that it will reimburse Ucontex for any financial loss suffered as a result of payment made to the Organizer on Ucontex website.

Where Ucontex suffers any loss, including but not limited to reputational loss, as a result of the conduct of the Organizer, including but not limited to the Organizers failure to comply with its legal obligations, including but not limited to, under relevant consumer protection laws, the Organizer indemnifies Ucontex fully for any such loss incurred by Ucontex.

ACCOUNT PASSWORDS AND REGISTRATION:

Users agree that the information provided to Ucontex upon registration and at all other times will be true, accurate, current, and complete. Furthermore, users will ensure that all information is kept accurate and up-to-date at all times. If a user has reason to believe that its account is no longer secure (e.g., in the event of a loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure or use of an email address, password, or any credit, debit or charge card number, if applicable), then users agree to immediately notify Ucontex.

OTHER AGREEMENT:

These terms constitute the entire agreement between users and Ucontex in respect of the use of the Site and the Ucontex Services offered:

1. You must be a human to use our site.
2. Your login details may only be used by one person – a single login shared by multiple people is not permitted.
3. DO NOT use Ucontex for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
4. You must not modify, adapt, or hack the Service or modify another website to falsely imply that it is associated with Ucontex.
5. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use the Service, or access the Service without the express permission of UcontexLtd.
6. You must not upload, post, host, mislead or transmit unsolicited email, SMS, or “spam” messages from our website.
7. You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature to or through the Site.
8. Photos that portray or otherwise include inappropriate and/or offensive content, including provocative nudity, violence, human rights and/or environmental violation, and/or any other contents deemed to be contrary to the law, religious, cultural & moral traditions and practices, are strictly prohibited and will be immediately discarded.

CHANGE

Ucontex reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this agreement. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes to this agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.
