1.1. These contest rules (hereinafter referred to as the CONTEST RULES) for hosting and participating in an online contest on UCONTEX. The content under the domain www.ucontex.com is owned by Ucontex Ltd" registered under the laws of Republic of Nigeria, represented by RC 1571923.
1.2. The CONTEST RULES constitute a contract between UCONTEXLtd and each Contestant who organizesor participatesin Contest in the manner described below. For the avoidance of any doubt, each Contestant is obligated under these CONTEST RULES from the time of the application or/and entry in any Contest.

1.3. The official language at UCONTEX is "English". Terms and Conditions, Contest rules and communication with UCONTEXLtd will be through the official language.
1.4 User: any individual, organization or entity that create an account on www.ucontex.com for the purpose of organizing a contest (Organizer), participating in a contest (Contestant) or voting in a contest (Voter).
2.1 The Organizer of a contest is a registered User (natural person) or Business (Company) at UCONTEX (www.ucontex.com) who uses UCONTEX to host contest.
2.2. The Organizer is displayed and publicly visible at the unique contest page of every contest.
2.3 The Organizer agrees with the terms and conditions for contest organizers at UCONTEX
Intermediary of the Contest (Intermediary) UCONTEX is an independent intermediary between the Organizer and Contestant by providing the platform and guaranteeing transparency and reliability for the Organizer and Contestant.
UCONTEX reserves the right to terminate or change contests in its sole discretion, in case of noticing irregularities in the contest.
3.1 The contest is available and open for registration, if published on this page:https://ucontex.com/contests/available Maximum contest registration period is 14 days.
3.2 The contest is ongoingwhen registration duration is over and voting commences, when published on this page:https://ucontex.com/contests/ongoing Maximum contest duration is 30 daysfrom the last date of registration.
3.3 The contest is closewhen the contest duration has ended and winners has been selected, when published on this page: https://ucontex.com/contests/closed
3.4 Additional information for periods such as registration start date, registration end date, contest end date, prize award, number of winners are provided and publicly visible at the contest page of every contest.
3.5 A single user is onlyallowed to have one entry per contest
4.1 Contestant in any contest (“Contestant”) is anyone who is eligible and have joined a Contest within the available contest period.
4.2 Contestant should be 18 years old and above.Any Contestant below 18 years should seekparents’ or guardian’s consent before registering.
4.3 Within the registration period all Contestant shall join a contest with an appropriate media, related to the contest topic.
4.4 Every Contestant shall pay (if required) the entry fee as required by the organizer.
4.5 The Contestant must be the author and sole owner of the copyrights.You are not allowed to use frames, signatures and watermarks.
5.1 Voter/voting A voter is someone who casts vote for someone during a contest. Voting can be done with any amountof money and each vote cost NGN50. Vote is gotten by sharing the link unique to you in a particular contest.
5.2 Point Point is gotten from the vote that is casted. 1 vote represents 5 points. Point determines your rank on the live board.
5.3. Rank Rank determines your position on the live board and it decides who the winner(s) are, when the contest ends.
5.4.Wallet Every user has a wallet, which securely stores fund generated during contest.
The Organizer is responsible for providingthe award (cash) prizefor the contest. The organizer will pay the amount for the contest upfront before listing on the contest page. Escrow protection services applies. At the end of the contest winner(s) are automatically paid the prizes in the manner the organizer specified.
Contest registration may be free or paid.

The organizer, Contestant and voter would be required to covertransaction cost to the payment processing service provider flutterwave.
9.1. For the purpose of participating in any Contest, the Contestant shall submit a completely new material – media files created specifically for the Contest.
9.2. By entering a Contest, the Contestant understand and agree that upon receipt of an award their names and media/s could be used in audio, print and video materials by the Organizer and/or UCONTEX, for which the Organizer and/or UCONTEX does not owe any payment.
9.3. The Contestant is personally liable for the correctness, accuracy and correspondence with these contest rules of the data submitted during the Contest. The provided information will be used for the purposes of the Contest.
9.4. The Organizer and/or UCONTEX is not liable for media files which have been lost.
9.5. The Organizer and/or UCONTEX has the right to disqualify any applicant who does not meet the requirements.
9.6 Any nude or obscene pictures or adult content will not be tolerated or accepted.
10.1. Until the determination of the winner of the Contest the Contestant undertake not to transfer and make available to third parties copyrights over the media files, arising under the Law on Copyright and Related Rights.
10.2. By accepting the current contest rules the Contestant agrees that, in case s/he is the award winner, all copyrights over the media files arising under the Copyright and Related Rights Act, remain the property of the Organizer. After receiving the Prize, the media files of the Winners become property of the Organizer and the Organizer receives the rights and may use the media files of the Winner in 3-years period of time including selling and licensing the media files to third parties and clients without paying any compensation to the Winners. The Organizer may also use the media files in exhibitions. For that purpose the Organizer may change and alter the media files, put them in frames etc. The Organizer can sell them/the media files/ in any altered condition.
10.3. The Contestant is entitled to change and alter the provided media files by sending a request to us.
10.4. With presenting the media files, the Contestant declares that s/he is the sole author of the file(s) and that the media file is his/her original work. The Contestant declares that s/he is the sole holder of the copyright and that the latter does not include trademarks or other intellectual property rights of a third individual or corporation.
10.5. By applying to participate in the Contest the Contestant declare that they have accepted these Contest rules.
10.6. The Contestant shall indemnify the Organizer and or UCONTEX:
10.6.1. At any claims by third parties relating to the rights and use of the media files, provided to the Organizer, under these contest rules as well as in case of damages incurred to the Organizer as a result of the acquisition and use of the media.
10.6.2. The Contestant shall indemnify the Organizer and or Ucontex and all third parties for all damages and lost benefits, including paid fines, for all costs and paid legal fees, that have occurred as a result of claims by and/or compensations paid to third parties in connection with his participation in the Contest in violation of the applicable law and these contestrules
11.1. By accepting these contest rules the Contestant declares that her/his participation in the Contest is entirely at its own risk and responsibility. The Organizer and/or UCONTEX shall not be liable for any damage caused to the Contestant in participation in the Contest, unless they are caused intentionally. The Organizer and/or UCONTEX shall not be liable for the type, nature and content sent by the Contestantmedia files, information and materials. The Organizer is entitled to remove from participation media files of a Contestant the content of which contradicts a legal act, the morality and/or decency.
11.2. UCONTEXLtd shall not be liable for failure to provide participation in the Contest under circumstances beyond her control - cases of force majeure, fortuitous events, problems in the global Internet network and other unforeseeable circumstances beyond a control.
12.1. UCONTEXLtd has the right to immediately and without notice suspend, or limit the participation of a Contestant and remove from participation a Contestant when the latter acts contrary to law, these contest rules, morality and decency.
12.2. In the above cases UCONTEXLtd shall not be liable for any damages and lost profits of the Contestant or third parties that have occurred as a result from limiting the participation of a Contestant in the Contest.
12.3. Where there is enough reason to assume that the act of the Contestant could constitute a criminal offense, UCONTEXLtd shall refer the matter to the competent state authorities, providing all necessary information and materials that would help identifying the perpetrator and prove the committed crime.
12.4. In the circumstances under the previous article, in case to a Contestant a limitation has been imposed – suspension, limitation of the participation or removal of the published media files, the restriction shall continue to be in effect until clarifying the facts of the case.

13.2 These Contest rules are available and publicly visible at www.ucontex.com.
13.3. By participating in this Contest, the Contestant are bound by these contest rules.
13.4. By participating in this Contest, all Contestant agree that the Organizer is entitled to use their materials for his/ her own promotional purposes, exhibition, calendars and catalogue.
14.1. The Contestant is using someone else’s identity.
14.2. The Contestant has submitted a media file that is not on the theme of the contest
14.3. The Contestant is suspected to cheat with fraudulent votes by any means possible
14.4. The Contestant is not using his/her real names and personal details
14.5. The Contestant has submitted a media file with copyrights of a third party
14.6. The Contestant is behaving arrogant against other users, organizers or UCONTEX team
14.7. The Useris acting against this contest rules.
14.8. Disqualified Contestant do not have the right to ask for a refund.

Ucontex reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this agreement. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes to this agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes.
